About
I build software products, and the companies that keep building them.
I'm Nazmul Hasan Rupok, founder and CEO of Startise, the group behind WPDeveloper, xCloud, Storeware and easy.jobs. Our products are used by more than 8 million people in over 180 countries.
I started as a developer in 2009, building themes and plugins for WordPress. In 2017 I made WPDeveloper an operating company, bringing in plugins I had built on my own, and grew it into one of the most widely used product companies in the WordPress ecosystem. Essential Addons, which I created, is now used by more than 2 million people, and Templately grew out of the same work as a template library and cloud workspace for Elementor and Gutenberg.
The work then spread beyond WordPress: easy.jobs for hiring, Storeware for Shopify merchants, and xCloud for hosting. In 2024 Startise became the home for all of it.
Today most of my attention goes to software for AI agents: products that agents can discover and call, and that look freely but ask before they touch. I write about it in the journal and talk about it at WordCamps.
I've contributed to WordPress since 2013, including core and dozens of plugins on WordPress.org. I also invest in and advise founders who are early in building something real.
