Choosing a problem worth solving is only the start. Notes on useful first versions, understandable user experiences, and leaving the next person a good handoff.

  1. The code works. The user is still stuck.

AI can help build working software. Great UX still takes judgment about what people need, what they understand, and where they get stuck.

  2. What you leave behind is part of the work

Finishing your part can still leave someone else with a problem. Ownership includes leaving enough context for the next person to carry the work forward.

  3. Ship before it feels complete. AI changed the math, not the rule.

Shipping early was never a license to ship junk. Now that a first version takes days instead of months, the bar moves toward working, not toward perfect.

  4. Coding is the easy part now. Knowing what's worth building isn't.

AI made building faster and cheaper than ever. It didn't create demand, distribution, or a reason for anyone to care.
